Diva is leading jewellery and accessories retailer in Australia, New Zealand and worldwide. Diva wanted to engage their target audience of 14 to 30 year old women and we thought what better way than via social media! In partnership with the super star PR team at
Torstar Communications we developed an integrated marketing strategy that brought together social media, PR and online, all with the aim of building a massive fan base for the brand on Facebook. We set up the Diva Facebook presence with a custom designed landing page, a custom developed application and social media optimised content. We then engaged fans with content, competitions and promotions and managed to build a fan base of 70,000 fans over a 6 month period. We designed and built the
Diva Blog, which we regularly update with topical articles and blog posts, all to give fans a richer, deeper experience of the Diva brand. Other marketing tactics included email marketing, Facebook advertising, social media engagement, Twitter engagement, YouTube marketing, regular competitions and promotions, PR, and experiential marketing. The end result? A growing fan base of over 35,000 fans and counting!
