Rock The Schools - School Tours Australia Rock the Schools 2010 will see famous bands tour Australia, performing at primary schools all around the nation. The Defectors worked closely with the client to develop their online and social media strategy. We created this website which allows the Rock the Schools team to keep it's fans up to date through articles, videos and photo galleries as well as allowing students to be a part of the project themselves having the ability to add their own content to the website. The Defectors have even fully integrated Facebook connect and Facebook share to compliment Rock the Schools' young target audience. A Live Community was developed where students can interact with one another. The Rock The Schools website provides a dynamic touch point between students, teachers, media/press and the school tours Australia team and also offers brands the ability to connect with students through sponsorship to create brand awareness and advocacy.
