Detour Espresso Bar When our local cafe, Detour Espresso Bar, needed a website we knew it would be a challenge to recreate the buzz and friendly local feel embodied by the cafe. We wanted to defect from stale, static websites and create something that local customers and new customers could visit to get the latest news from the Detour team and experience the Detour vibe online. We thought why not take an online detour of Detour cafe? We designed and built a site that interactively showcases the daily buzz and authentic local feel of Detour Cafe. Users can flick through images of the cafe from the homepage and gallery, read regularly updated news written and posted by the Detour team, comment on articles and view their breakfast and lunch menu options.
